Sous Chef – Branded Restaurant Group (New Opening, High Volume) – Glasgow City Centre

• Total package up to £49,750 per annum, made up of a £32,750 base salary, tips of around £15,000 and a bonus scheme on top

We’re working with a growing branded restaurant group on the appointment of a Sous Chef for their new city centre opening in January. This is a high volume operation, so the successful Sous Chef will ideally come from a branded restaurant or high volume background, and will be comfortable working at pace within a back of house team of 15 to 19 across chefs and kitchen team.Experience with stock control and ordering systems is essential.

This is a hands on Sous Chef position in a fast paced kitchen, so you will be running services, supporting the Head Chef with ordering and stock, and helping to develop the junior chefs around you. The group invests heavily in its people, with structured development, healthcare and clear career pathways.

Candidates will need to be available to start in early January in order to be in place ahead of the opening. As this is a brand new opening, the incoming Sous Chef will have the opportunity to help shape the kitchen and set standards from day one.
