We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a prestigious, high-volume contract catering site based in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has previous experience within high-volume contract catering operations.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

You will assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team, managing busy service periods, maintaining compliance standards, and helping to deliver an exceptional food offer within a demanding contract catering environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within a high-volume catering environment
• Essential: Previous experience within contract catering or large-scale food service operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience working in busy kitchen environments and managing multiple service periods
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP, health & safety, and compliance standards
• Ability to maintain high culinary standards while working to volume and budget requirements
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Passion for fresh food, innovation, and delivering excellent customer experiences
• Calm, adaptable, and hands-on approach under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Must have the right to work in the UK
