HEAD CHEF — EVENTS & CATERING (Immediate Start)
East London | Full Time |

Monday–Friday | 48 Hours |

Up to £60k DOE + TOIL

We’re looking for an experienced, seasoned Head Chef to join an evolving, forward-thinking, founder-led events and catering business based in East London.

This is a newly created role for a chef who thinks entrepreneurially. You’ll have genuine autonomy, the tools and budget to make your mark, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the culinary future of a growing business.

Working closely with the Founder and the Operations team, you’ll take ownership of the kitchen management, operations and culinary direction, while building a strong, professional kitchen team and elevating processes across the business.

You’ll be responsible for:

Developing vibrant, seasonal menus across events, corporate lunches, canapés and bespoke brand activations
Leading tastings and creating exciting new food concepts
Building, managing and mentoring a high-performing kitchen team
Taking full ownership of kitchen operations, processes, food quality, suppliers and budgets
Working with the Founder and HODs to develop successful client and brand partnerships
Continuously improving kitchen systems, standards and ways of working
Being given the time and budget to undertake research trips, explore new cuisines, discover emerging trends and expand your culinary knowledge
Bringing fresh ideas, creativity and commercial thinking to a business that is constantly evolving
We’re looking for a chef who is creative, calm, midful, commercially minded, operationally strong and entrepreneurial who gets excitied about food!. Someone who wants more than simply running a kitchen — you’ll have the freedom and responsibility to help build something.
