Berkeley Scott Recruitment are current recruiting for Catering Assistants for various contracts across Bolton including schools, contract catering, stadiums, hotel and restaurants

Key Responsibilities of our Catering Assistant:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of hot and cold food items
• Help clear and close the unit at the end of each shift
• Maintain standards in line with food safety and food allergen legislation
• Assist with special events and buffets as required

Pay rates differ dependent on client, experince and role.

• Previous experience in a catering or food service role is ESSENTIAL
• Use of till and/or computerised stock system is advantageous
• Food Safety & Food Allergen Qualifications or willingness to complete IS ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
• Team player with the initiative to work independently
• Driver (preferred but not essential)
• Takes pride in delivering excellent service
