Head of Operations — Independent Fine Dining, London

Salary: £80,000+ | TOIL | 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays | Flexible rota management

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Operations to join an ambitious independent fine dining business in London at a pivotal stage of its growth.

This is a hands-on, field-based operations role with a strong administrative and commercial focus, ideal for someone who understands the detail, discipline and high standards required within the fine dining world.

You’ll take ownership across a broad operational remit, including budgets and costings, financial controls, Health & Safety, staffing, compliance, systems and process improvement. You’ll manage and support four direct reports, ensuring the wider operation is aligned, efficient and consistently delivering an exceptional guest and team experience.

The business is about to embark on a significant period of refinement and transformation, with an ambitious three-year growth plan. You’ll play a key leadership role in shaping the operational infrastructure, streamlining processes and building the foundations required to scale successfully without compromising the quality and character of the business.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong operational leadership experience within fine dining, premium hospitality or a similarly high-end environment
• Has an exceptional eye for detail and genuinely understands the standards of fine dining
• Is commercially astute, confident with budgets, costings and financial management
• Has a strong understanding of H&S, compliance, staffing and operational processes
• Is comfortable being hands-on in the business while also managing the administrative side
• Can lead, develop and motivate a team, with experience managing direct reports
• Is highly organised, solutions-focused and confident driving change
• Can take a business through growth, refinement and operational transformation
