We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Area Manager to join one of London’s fastest-growing Grab & Go food businesses.

This isn’t a desk-based Area manager position. You’ll spend around 70% of your time supporting sites on the ground and 30% focusing on operational management, helping our supervisors and teams deliver exceptional service every day.

As an Area manager You’ll oversee 6–8 busy Central London locations, acting as the link between the sites, senior leadership and operations. One day you could be covering a supervisors absence, the next you’re supporting a busy breakfast or Kitchen production service, reviewing weekly performance, planning rotas, or working alongside theoperations team to improve operational efficiency.

The Role

As Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation across multiple Grab & Go locations while helping drive standards, performance and growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and developing Supervisors and junior management teams across 6–8 Central London sites.
  • Leading from the front by spending the majority of your time working within the operation and supporting busy services.
  • Providing management cover for holidays, sickness and unexpected staffing gaps.
  • Reviewing weekly financial performance, labour costs and key business metrics.
  • Preparing operational reports and presenting performance updates during weekly management meetings with the CEO and Operations team.
  • Planning weekly rotas to ensure each site is fully staffed and labour is managed effectively.
  • Maintaining excellent Food Safety and Health & Safety standards across all locations.
  • Carrying out site visits, coaching teams and driving consistency across the business.
  • Supporting new site openings and operational projects as the company continues to grow.
  • Building a positive culture where people enjoy coming to work and delivering great customer experiences.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of the operation, not just overseeing it.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in an Area Support Manager, Area Manager, within Grab & Go, QSR, cafés or high-volume hospitality.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing supervisors and frontline teams.
  • Confidence working with financial reports, labour costs and operational KPIs.
  • A hands-on approach with the willingness to step into fast service whenever required.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety and compliance standards.
  • A flexible attitude with the ability to adapt as business needs change.

What’s in it for You?

  • Salary up to £40,000 DOE + Bonus
  • KPI Bonus following successful completion of probation
  • The opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Grab & Go business with genuine career progression
  • A varied role where every day brings new challenges
  • Direct exposure to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • The chance to make a real impact on a growing business
  • A supportive, ambitious culture where your ideas are valued
  • One weekend per month on a planned rota, with flexibility for early starts when the business requires
