Kitchen Porter / General Porter – Immediate Start | Westminster

We are looking for a strong, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / General Porter to join a busy operation in Westminster on an ongoing temporary assignment.

Location: Westminster, London
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing until 10th August
Hours: 10 hours per day
Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Washing pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Assisting chefs with basic kitchen duties when required
• Moving catering equipment, furniture, deliveries and stock around the site
• Setting up and breaking down work areas
• Supporting the wider operations team with manual handling tasks
• Ensuring all health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained

Requirements:

• Previous Kitchen Porter or General Porter experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
• Health & Safety Level 2 Certificate
• COSHH Certificate
• Right to work in the UK

This is a physically demanding role requiring someone who is proactive, hardworking and happy to support both kitchen and operational teams.
