About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic hospitality kitchen and contract catering team, specializing in fine dining and hospitality is essential.  You will work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to deliver exceptional, high-quality, and beautifully presented dishes for our clients. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in both fast-paced environments and enjoys crafting premium dishes. This role will cover fine dining, canape functions, events and working lunches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, preparing, and serving fine dining menus that delight and inspire.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation, with a focus on elegant, innovative dishes.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards, including food hygiene.
  • Help manage inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate in menu development, introducing creative, seasonal fine dining options.
  • Step into the role of Sous Chef when needed, managing kitchen operations and client expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and adapt menus based on client feedback for fine dining experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining or premium contract catering setting or high end restaurant
  • A proven ability to produce high-quality, well-presented dishes in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a kitchen team.
  • A creative and innovative approach to food presentation and fine dining menu design.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • A genuine passion for food and delivering luxury dining experiences.
